Can't believe I am submitting another Mifune wall so soon but I made a series of poster type walls and I love them. This was a screencap from Sword of Doom with the amazing Tetsuya Nakadai in the lead role but as always Toshiro makes his mark with an amazing duel in the snow.
I hope my watchers will forgive me for my wallpaper obesession with Toshiro but he makes a marvellous subject, so much better than a Haywain or Sunflowers don't you think?

Kuranosuke, being a badass without losing his soul. That takes skill. : ) Another epic wallpaper, i like the white, it reminds you of the snow scene. ^^

By the way - I love all your Mifune pix as I'm also a big Mifune fan.Interesting to see how you've got better at your photoshopping over time too.

Check out the blu-ray screen captures of Kurosawa movies on dvdbeaver if you haven't already. They look great - especially from the Sanjuro and Yojimbo and they probably have the seven samurai blu ray pics up by now.

I am treating myself to one of those paper thin HD tv's next month..........Toshiro in Blu-Ray and HD.....how much can one girl take. As for PS it's taken me nearly two years to get this far and I also use a mix of Topaz, something called I.C.net software and Virtual Photographer. Its been a fun challenge and there's still loads to learn.

Wow, this is just simply awesome.
Sadly I've never seen this movie, except for a fe scenes from it. My favorite scene ist the one where the other samurais from this school fight against Toshiro Mifune and he kills them all. I love this scene, because of Tatsuya Nakadai aswell, who played the badass who thinks he's the best swords fighter on earth and in this scene his expression says "oh shit, that guy is much better than I am".

This is one of favourites but I made another one of these from Hell in the Pacific and it's just one of those captures that says so much........funnily enough I prefer working with black and white pics they seem to me to convey so much more expression than colour.

I love the snow sword fight. Pity they didn't finish the SoD trilogy - I was looking forward to a Mifune/Makadai showdown.
